  • Pingshanhu Grand Canyon

    The pingshanhu grand canyon scenic spot covers an area of 1040 square km. So far, it is a compound scenic spot in China, which is the closest to the city and integrates natural wonders, canyon exploration, geological survey, ethnic customs, cross-country hiking and so on. It can be comparable to Zhangjiajie and Colorado grand canyon,which has been praised by China geographic magazine and famous geological experts and tourists at home and abroad.
  • The Quan Hu Park of Jiuquan

    The Quan Hu park is located 2 kilometers in the east of Jiuquan City. As the name implies, Jiu means liquor in Chinese, and Quan means spring. It covers an area of 270,000 square meters. It is the only intact Han style garden and park in Hexi Corridor with a history of more than 2000 years. Now it is a comprehensive park with collection of classical garden, natural lake and culture vacation.
  • Jiuquan Mosque

    The mosque was built in the Ming Dynasty(1368-1644. It was originally located in the northeast corner of the Jiuquan city, and then it was moved to the north of Dongguan street after the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) . It was ever rebuilt in 1917. It is a typical Islamic style building,and covers an area of 1440 square meters.
  • The Jiayuguan Fort

    The Jiayuguan Fort will take you to enjoy the majesty of the fort and appreciate the wisdom of the ancients. Jia Yu means beautiful valley because it was built in the valley between two mountains . The Jiayuguan was pretty well preserved, so it got a nice reputation which is called the Heavenly Pass. The Jiayuguan fort can be the westmost customs in Ming dynasty (1368-1644 AD), where the passports should be checked and tax would be collected as people went through it .
  • The Overhanging Great Wall

    The overhanging Great Wall is about 11 kilometers away from Jiayuguan City and 7 kilometers away from Jiayuguan pass. Because it is built on the ridge of about 45 degrees, it looks like hanging upside down in the sky, so it gets the name of "Overhanging Great Wall". The overhanging Great Wall is the northward extension of Jiayuguan Pass, which was built in 1539.
